Welcome to the blog!!! I'm so excited to share beautiful images, tips, tricks and experiences with you!
Do you have a photoshoot coming up? Do you need some help with planning your outfits? Figuring out what everyone should wear can be so stressful!!! Which is why I always include a prep link for my clients when they book a session with me. This prep link includes all kinds of tips and tricks to have the best shoot possible! Not just in how gorgeous your photos are, but also in your overall experience. Today, I am going to share 3 tips with you for planning your outfits for a photoshoot. :) Tip #1: Pick 2-6 colors to wear for the shoot. How many colors you pick will depend on how many people are in the photo. The more people, the more options you will want for people to choose from. If everyone wears the same color shirt and pants, it can make the photo look flat and outdated. You want to focus more on coordinating outfits vs. matching them. :) Pinterest has lots of inspiration available. I have seen earth tones, desert and autumn colors, neutrals, rustic, classic, romantic, bright and colorful, the list goes on!! There are all kinds of options to go with! Tip #2: Dress in layers! Everyone looks amazing in layers and it adds such great depth to your photos! It really helps make a good photo great! It can be as simple as wearing an undershirt, jacket, jewelry, scarf, vest, etc. Adding in those layers really help make the photo pop. Tips #3: Lastly, don't be afraid to mix in both patterns and textures into your outfits. Again, this adds another dimension to your photo and creates great depth. All textures photograph differently. So mixing in textures really helps add an extra wow-factor into your photo. And patterns help make your photo interesting. You will want to make sure you mix in some solids when using patterns- but don't be afraid of mixing patterns together! Again, think of coordinating instead of matching them. :) I hope this helps you plan your outfits for your next shoot! I hope you are able to find outfits everyone feels amazing in and outfits that help show who you are as a family/couple/individual! :) I can't wait to see your beautiful faces in your beautiful photos!!!
